Town of North Star Volunteer Fire Department
The Fire Department of North Star Township is comprised of volunteers who have training and certification in Fire Fighting and Emergency Response. The Township funds and supports the training, equipment and communication tools that make our volunteers able to quickly and effectively respond to emergencies within our Township and in support of surrounding Townships.

Are you interested in saving lives and property in our Township and beyond? Would you like to learn to use our high-tech fire trucks and emergency response equipment? The North Star Fire / EMS Department is looking for a few good women and men to join as Fire Fighters and/or Emergency Responders. Training for certification and equipment are provided. Fully vested volunteers receive PERA retirement benefits. All kinds of interesting and important short-course hands-on training happens all year round.
